Health Care - Social Issues Program

The Health Care - Social Issues Program is designed to enhance student competence in analyzing the complex social and ethical ramifications of health care issues. Students gain an understanding of how economic, cultural, technological, social, and psychological processes affect modern health care.

The curriculum complements natural science, humanities, and social science majors and enriches student participation in the health care professions.

The program is administered by Earl Warren College and available to all UCSD students with a general interest in health care.
